Silent and Live Auctions

The Tuna Challenge auction will be divided into two parts; Silent and Live. At the Silent Auction you will have ample time to casually view each of the items available and write your bid down next to any you are interested in. The Silent Auction will be closed at four staggered times to allow participants to concentrate on items of special interest. The Live Auction will be held after the close of the silent auction and our terrific auctioneers will encourage people to verbally bid on items as they are presented on stage. All Silent and Live Auction items will have initial starting bids. Silent bidding will commence for all items offered at the onset of the festivities and close after ample announcement.

Some of the Silent Auction items will then go to a Live Auction of each item where the highest bidder will be identified by name and the amount that they bid at that time. If there are no new bidders during the live portion of the auction, the last bidder and amount from the Silent Auction shall be declared the winner.

Winning bidders for each of the Silent Auction items will be posted at the cashier's station within 30 minutes after the close of the Silent Auction.
