Welcome to the Make-A-Wish Tuna Challenge, an annual tuna tournament and fundraiser in San Diego with all proceeds going to the Make-A-Wish Foundation® of San Diego, Inc.
With a total of 91 teams made up of 412 anglers, over 3500 lbs of fish were caught and weighed in. Thanks to everyone who showed up to support our event: anglers and their friends and families; all of the volunteers, mostly members of Silver Gate Yacht Club and their friends and families; Make-A-Wish San Diego volunteers; as well as our tireless Tuna Challenge committee. Everyone worked throughout the year to help us raise over $215,000 to help grant wishes to kids with life-threatening medical conditions.
Many thanks to all of our generous sponsors, found at the bottom of this page and on our Sponsorship page. Their support helped make this year's event a success so please support them with your business!
