Welcome to the Make-A-Wish Tuna Challenge, an annual tuna tournament and fundraiser in San Diego with all proceeds going to the Make-A-Wish Foundation® of San Diego, Inc.
Participate by signing up for the 2016 tournament, or by donating your time, money, or both, to the Make A Wish Foundation® or the Tuna Challenge event.
Our 2015 Tournament had a total of 91 teams made up of 412 anglers with over 3500 lbs of fish were caught and weighed in. Thanks to everyone who showed up to support our event: anglers and their friends and families; all of the volunteers, mostly members of Silver Gate Yacht Club and their friends and families; Make-A-Wish San Diego volunteers; as well as our tireless Tuna Challenge committee. Everyone worked throughout the year to help us raise over $215,000 to help grant wishes to kids with life-threatening medical conditions.
